About Ann Glimmer

Hi, I’m Ann Glimmer, a writer of spicy romantasy stories filled with slow-burn love, dangerous magic, and world-shattering stakes.

I’m also a total nerd who loves geeking out over books and playing board games with friends.

I live in Sweden with my sambo (Swedish for unmarried partner), our two sons, and Tora, our very fluffy Siberian cat.

As a Swede, I grew up on Norse mythology and Scandinavian folklore, which strongly influenced my early writing. Over time, I’ve branched out into other fantastical worlds, and my debut—coming September 28—actually has no Norse influences at all.

Like many romantasy girlies, I’m a fantasy nerd at heart, but I need romance to stay invested. That’s why all my stories, no matter the setting, are built around yearning, banter, and delicious tension between the main couple.
